Very traditional food with a warm environment. The service was fast and food excellent. The soup and stuffed Chile was savory. The mojito was also very refreshing.

Nothing’s worse than getting sick on vacation. I slept all afternoon and skipped out on dinner reservations - and decided I want soup. The 4 or so restaurants nearby close at 9pm but Google Map said this one is open ‘til 9:30, so I took a gamble. Walked out of the hotel and 2 mins later, I was here! Got a take-out order of the pozole (soup w/ a bunch of things mixed in). The dishes on the menu are typical of the nearby restaurants (chalupas, mole poblano, Chile en Nogada, cecina, arrachera, tampiquena). I went to another restaurant for lunch, and this place is more “established” (read: clean) with way better seating and lighting - much easier for group seating too, and more airy. And of course - any food is better available than not :) As for the food, I got the made-to-order pozole (70 pesos) and house-made flan (40 pesos). This is the best pozole I have ever had. It’s a hearty soup with crushed corn and meat choices. There’s something about the ground pepper and ground chipotle they use - the pepper has a greenness to it that I can’t describe - it’s amazing. They also serve it with chopped radish and onion and chunks of lime to taste (I asked for no cilantro). It couldn’t have been more perfect a dinner choice for me, sick or not sick. I got take out so I don’t have a picture for this but I would go back for this soup alone. The house-made flan is pretty good - dense but not overly sweet. If I were dining in, I would have gotten the house-made fruit sorbets frozen in the original fruit skin. Really nice staff and awesome food in clean, bright restaurant! They only accept domestic (Mexican) cards so make sure to bring cash if you don’t have one of those :) Enjoy!

I've eaten here several times and it is always excellent. I get something different every time and everything I've gotten is wonderful. The waiters are always great and the atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. The sangria is so refreshing on these warm days. This has become one of my favorite places to eat here in Puebla.
